Name: Michael Karing MD Specialty: Dr. Karing was born in Anchorage, Alaska and grew up in San Antonio. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in pharmacology from the University of Texas at Austin, he attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed his one-year internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock and his two-year residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Dr Karing joined our practice in 1993. He is married to Dr. Beverly Wood, an OB-GYN here in Bedford. They have a son and a daughter. He enjoys fishing and golf. Currently accepting new patients.
